POWERLIFTING RULES & BYLAWS We will hold a brief rules meeting prior to the start of competition. However, it is your responsibility to be familiar with the rules before attending the event. Please review the rules and bylaws established by USA Powerlifting and found at the following link: https://www.usapowerlifting.com/rules-bylaws/ LIFTING ORDER & WEIGHT CLASS CHANGES Lifting order and flights have been assigned but may adjust over the coming weeks. You will be able to see the tentative order at the following link. Please let me know if you WILL NOT make your elected weight class by 6pm EST on Thursday, 10/31/24 so that I can update the flights in advance of the competition. Lifters that do not make their weight class on the day of the event may or may not be moved to a different flight.
ADDING DIVISION TO COMPETE IN Lifters have until 6pm EST on Thursday, 10/31/24 to register for additional divisions. No changes will be accepted after that date. This pertains to lifters that wish to compete in a specific age group, Military, Police and Fire, as well as the open division and/or Bench Only. Military, Police and Fire are now available and state records can be set. Additional divisions are $45 and will need to be paid at the following link. FRIDAY NIGHT REGISTRATION (optional but encouraged) 6:00pm - 7:00pm Being held at meet site Registration (bring your picture ID and picture of current USAPL Membership card) Equipment check (bring everything you plan to wear on the platform) Rack heights (check your squat and bench rack heights) NO WEIGH-INS ON FRIDAY NIGHT
MEET DAY SCHEDULE This is a single session, 2-platform meet with 3 flights per platform. 6:30 am: Doors open for STAFF ONLY 6:45 am - 8:30 am: Registration, equipment check, rack heights (for anyone that did not do this on Friday night) 7:00 am - 8:30 am: Weigh-in 8:30 am: Registration & Weigh-in completed. 8:30 am: Rules briefing for all lifters. 9:00 am - Squats begin. 11:30 am - Anticipated start of Bench Press. 2:00 pm - Anticipated start of Deadlift. 4:00 pm - Anticipated end of competition.
COACHES ADMISSION TO WARM-UP AREA Each lifter may have only ONE coach in the warm-up area. Coaches passes will be $15 at the entry gate and will receive a wristband. Coaches must visibly wear their wristband at ALL times in order to be in the warm-up area.
SPECTATOR ADMISSION Gate entry will be $10 for all adults 18 and older. We will accept cash, Venmo, CashApp, and Venmo.
